Privacy
This page explains what New Money collects when you use this website, why, who helps us, how long it is kept and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can.
Who we are
This website, newmoneyglobal.com, is run by New Money, a financial education brand based in Bermuda. For anything on this page, email admin@newmoneyglobal.com.
What we collect, and why
If you ask for the free Starter Guide
We collect your email address. We then send you an email asking you to confirm it. Nothing else is sent until you confirm.
Once you confirm, we use your email address to:
- send you the Starter Guide;
- tell you when the New Money free membership launches;
- send you the New Money newsletter.
Every email has an unsubscribe link. Use it at any time and we stop.
If you accept cookies
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept cookies. If you choose “No thanks”, we do not use analytics at all.
If you choose “Accept”, we use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people find and use the site. It records things like the pages you visit, how you arrived (for example from a link on social media), your type of device and browser, and your rough location. It also records when someone presses one of our main buttons, such as “Get the Free Starter Guide”. It does not receive your name or email address.
Your cookie choice
We remember whether you pressed “Accept” or “No thanks” by saving that one word on your own device, so we do not ask again on every page. You can change your choice at any time:
Every visit
Like any website, the services that deliver our pages see your internet (IP) address when your browser asks for them. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which uses this to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. The site’s fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google also sees your IP address when the page loads.
The members’ area preview
The members’ area is a preview. There are no accounts yet, and nothing you click there is saved or sent to us.
Who helps us
We use a small number of services to run the site. They handle your information on our behalf:
- Kit (kit.com), to collect sign-ups and send our emails.
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, for visitor statistics, only if you accept cookies.
- Google Fonts, for the fonts on the page.
- Cloudflare, to host and protect the website.
Some of these companies are based in the United States, so your information may be handled there. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Google Analytics keeps visitor statistics for the period set in our account, currently Google’s default setting.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or tell us to stop using it. Email admin@newmoneyglobal.com. You can also unsubscribe from our emails at any time, and change your cookie choice using the button above.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the privacy regulator where you live. In Bermuda that is the Privacy Commissioner for Bermuda. In the United Kingdom it is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes to this page
If what we collect changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
